Who We Are

We are Scotland’s alliance for sustainable transport. We campaign for walking, cycling and public transport to be the easiest and most affordable options for everyone. Our diverse membership brings together public, private and third sector organisations from across Scotland. We are politically independent and strictly science-based; we are a registered Scottish Charity (SC041516) and Company (SC181648).

Transform Scotland’s policy positions best represents the views of our wide membership. Our strategic direction is set by our Board of Directors, who are elected by our Members. The Board is informed by the work of our Policy Forum.

We run two social enterprises, the profits from which are reinvested in our work:

We work closely with our sister organisation in England and Wales, Campaign for Better Transport, are a member of the European Federation for Transport and Environment (T&E), and are also a member of, or partner in, these organisations:

We are a member of the Partnership Group and Greener & Healthier Working Group of the Scottish Government’s National Transport Strategy Review process.

We are a member of the Scottish Government’s High Speed Rail Scottish Partnership Group.

We are also grateful for the excellent work of our various suppliers, including:
