We’ve published a presentation prepared for the High Speed Rail Group event ‘From Plane to Train: Achieving Modal Shift in Anglo-Scottish Travel’ held in Edinburgh on Monday 25 October.

Transform’s rail spokesperson Paul Tetlaw presented on a panel chaired by The Scotsman’s transport correspondent Alastair Dalton. Joining Paul on the panel was:

  • Jim Steer, High Speed Rail Group
  • Sara Thiam, Scottish Council for Development and Industry
  • George Lowder MBE, Transport for Edinburgh

In the presentation, Paul notes the development of the process that led to feasibility studies being prepared, but questions the lack of progress by Transport Scotland for the past two and a half years.
