Two Scottish companies among top 10 in global study on corporate travel and reporting air travel emissions

Two companies headquartered in Scotland, Lloyds Banking Group and Abrdn, feature in the top 10 of 322 businesses ranked by the ‘Travel Smart’ campaign. reviews how companies are performing on their commitments to reduce corporate travel and report air travel emissions.

The remaining two companies headquartered in Scotland featured in the ranking, NatWest Group and SSE, received the second-bottom ‘C’ rating.

Transform Head of Enterprise, Elspeth Wray said:

The ranking reveals that the world’s largest companies are failing to set targets on climate-intensive travel with only 50 out of 322 setting targets to reduce business flights. Meanwhile, just four have committed to reducing air travel and only 12% are reporting all GHG emissions.
