Last mile deliveries | Sustainable transport CPG

FacebookTweetEmailLinkedIn

Book now for the first meeting of the Cross Party Group on Sustainable Transport’s new freight series.

How we transport goods at the local level has become a critical issue for climate, public health and urban space.

We’ll hear from industry and expert speakers on how Scotland can deliver cleaner and smarter local freight systems that work better for both communities and businesses.

  • Oliver Lord, Clean Cities Campaign, on best practice from European cities on cutting emissions from freight in cities
  • Emma Bayliss-Chan, Royal Mail, on how the Royal Mail became the UK’s greenest parcel operator
  • Toby Hiles, Grid Smarter Cities, on the role of kerbside management in creating greener, safer and more efficient cities

More details are available on the event page here.

When: 18:00 – 19:30, Wednesday 1 October 2025
