Transform Scotland has published its response to Strathclyde Partnership for Transport’s Regional Transport Strategy ‘Case for Change’ consultation. Transform’s response to the consultation takes the form of a letter sent by Transform’s director Colin Howden.
While welcoming the narrative on the existing situation in the SPT area as being “informative and indeed interesting”, we find that there is a “lack of assessment of whether or not the previous [Strategy] has had any impact” on transport trends, and lacks a “vision of where we want to go and a clear route map of how we will get there”.
